For the August issue of Freq Magazine I interviewed  Delphine Ettinger aka Ashes57 for my monthly column "Under the Covers".

Delphine is the art director for London based label, Swamp 81, and an amazing artist!

trio dystans

Trio Dystans will be bringing their classical music to a couple of shows this month. Above is the poster I designed for them.

They will be in Lethbridge on the 18th and at the National Music Center on August 19, so go check them out, showcasing new songs "Distance" and "A Hundred Years".

fahamu pecou interview

Fahamu Pecou created the fantastic artwork for one of the best hip hop albums of the year so far. Killer Mike's R.A.P. Music. I was fortunate enough to get the chance to interview him for last month's Under the Covers column, read part of the interview here.

phall the conqueror

The FFWD illustration I drew for this week accompanies an article by Gabriel Hal, who bravely sat down at Glory of India, and after signing a waiver (!) ordered a Phall cury dish complete with the infamous naga bhut jolokia chilli. The naga bhut jolokia chili is reportedly over two times hotter than the much more widely known habanero pepper. read the full article here.
